ASACP Honors Featured Sponsors for July

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced ImLive, FUBAR and the YNOT Group as its Featured Sponsors for the month of July.

Each month ASACP honors a select group of sponsors for their admirable commitment to keeping children out of and away from adult-oriented materials as evidenced by their continued support of the association and its vital mission.

ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning says the generosity of the association’s family of sponsors empowers its multi-decade-long legacy of success and enables it to continue protecting children into the future.

“The association stretches the support it receives from its sponsors, leveraging the financial and material assistance these leading companies provide us to make a meaningful difference in online child safety,” Henning explained. “ASACP’s monthly Featured Sponsors are true industry leaders that we are proud to recognize and hope their stewardship serves as an example for their corporate peers to follow.”

Highlighted by its Child Exploitation Tipline, which has successfully processed more than one million CP reports to date and received numerous global awards in the process; along with its widely applauded Restricted To Adults (RTA) meta label that helps filter age-restricted materials to protect vulnerable youth; plus digital media market-specific Best Practices; a universal Code of Ethics that guides companies towards child-safe operation; and much more, ASACP’s enviable record of achievement is made possible by the dedication of its staff and the generous support of its valued sponsors.

This month, ASACP honors ImLive, FUBAR and the YNOT Group for their “ongoing support of the association and for their efforts to make the internet a safer place for children.”

ImLive

An ASACP Corporate Sponsor since 2007, ImLive is a premium provider of live interactive webcam services that unite a large global base of individual performers and studios with customers from around the world.

This puts the company straight at the forefront of ASACP’s mission to keep children out of and away from adult entertainment, which it does by requiring chat hosts to provide photo identification for age verification, and by limiting explicit displays to paid private shows, where only adults are allowed.

Beyond these measures and its support of ASACP, ImLive showcases its strong commitment to online child safety by making use of RTA labeling, and by offering a “warning page” overlay.

FUBAR Webmasters

An ASACP In-Kind Media Sponsor since 2009, FUBAR Webmasters offers an online resource site for party, conference, convention, and event pictures and news relating to adult website owners, operators, affiliates and service providers.

“It occurred to me that the [photos] might be of interest to people who didn’t make it to the shows for one reason or another,” company owner JFK said of his desire to educate and entertain those operators working in the adult entertainment industry.

It is an educational process that helps promote the effort to protect children online, with JFK setting an example by using a warning page and rating meta tag on his website’s homepage, along with providing links to parental filtering and child protection tools, ASACP said.

YNOT Group

An ASACP In-Kind Media Sponsor since 2016, the YNOT brand was founded in 1996, with a goal of providing website developers with a central hub where they could network and promote ethical business practices in what was then a largely lawless internet. Today the company offers a variety of B2B services for adult businesses anchored by its flagship website YNOT.com, providing industry news, forums and more.

These services include the YNOT Europe blog, photojournalism site YNOT Shoot Me, the YNOT Cam blog and hosted email marketing and delivery platform YNOT Mail, as well as several annual events, such as the YNOT Karting Grand Prix and YNOT Awards Show.

“YNOT has always applauded the efforts of ASACP to make the internet (and the industry) a safer place,” said YNOT Group, LLC co-owner Jay Kopita. “We are thoroughly pleased to make our support official and public.”

“From leaders in live interactive erotica to industry media outlets and service providers, ASACP’s Featured Sponsors for July illustrate the many ways that responsible companies support online child protection,” Henning concluded. “By doing the right thing these firms deserve our appreciation and recognition.”
